Commode tomb of Regency period, curved all sides 18th century. It opens with four drawers in three rows, frieze rosewood frieze frame fir.
This furniture is adorned with a rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes of very high quality: Falls with woman's head, falling handles decorated with rosewood foliage, shell and arabesques foliage on the apron, lock entries '' Rocaille '' .. .
The drawers are separated by a brass groove.
This dresser is topped with a marble called "breach of Sarrancolin" beak corbin.
This commode tombeau looks like a dresser stamped Criaerd (attached photo) cited p. 212 of the book "French furniture of the eighteenth century" Pierre Kjellberg (Editions of the Amateur). Also noteworthy are the identical and high-quality models of the bronze falls with a woman's head and rosettes with foliated handles.
