Exceptional cameo on agate. The profiled bust looking toward the right displays a young man with hair wrapped in grape vines. The artist sculpted different veins of this stone to represent the profile of a Bacchante who followed along in Dionysus’ cortege.
Caillot Peck: The House born in 1849 of the association between the house Caillot and Prosper Peck (1821-1899). Takes the name of Caillot, Peck and Guillemin brothers in 1874. The Guillemin brothers remain alone from 1884.
