Rectangular, gold vinaigrette with a hinged lid is organized around a central pattern of stylized flower. A geometric frieze frames the composition. The bate is decorated with friezes of foliage on amati background. The background is guilloche geometric patterns.The vinaigrette revealing an openwork grill embellished with scrollwork around a flower basket symbol of Love . The grill was used to hold a sponge soaked in bergamot vinegar or another essence.
