A french bronze model of Napoleon’s column in the place Vendome
Surmounted by the figure of Napoleon, on siena marble base
First half of the 19th century.

The Vendome column is a Parisian monument located in the center of the square of the same name in the 1st district of Paris. It was erected by Napoleon to commemorate the Battle of Austerlitz, then destroyed during the Paris Commune in 1871 before being rebuilt as we know it today.
