French Louis XIV mirror, attributed to Thomas Hache, circa 1720

Beautiful mirror in fruit wood marquetry attributed to Thomas Hache (1664-1747). There is on the frame an elegant with patterns of foliage, acanthus leaves and stylized windings. This decoration is made with the technique of burning wood in "shading".
On the edge there is a foliage frieze alternating light and dark wood.
