Icon of Saint Nicholas Moscow with a silver riza with cloisonné enamel

The icon is a work around 1908 - 1917
Saint Nicholas presents itself in perfect state of preservation. The icon is painted in tempera on levka on wood.
Rice is a masterpiece of craftsmanship.
The edge of the riza is worked in leaf decoration, the four corners are richly decorated with cloisonné enamel.
Inside the riza is finely engraved in silver, the dress of Saint Nicholas is soldered with a silver thread.
The letters of the book are champlevé enameled
The halo is worked with the same decor as the rim of the riza.
Its outer edge is also decorated with cloisonné enamel.
The riza is completely gilded, except for the dress of Saint Nicholas, behind which is the gilding of the riza.

Two stamps are marked in the lower edge of the icon.
One on the left is the master inspector's stamp of the city of Moscow, recognizable by a delta with a woman's head with kokoschnik and an 84 grade of 800/1000 silver.
On the right is the manufacturer's master's stamp with the initial M.C. corresponds to the master Sokolow M. F.

All together, this is a rare masterpiece that probably comes from a supplier to the Tsar's House.
