White marble and gilt bronze clock in shape of a fluted column on a rectangular base. A putto sitting on a cloud is situated on its top. Very nice chiselled gilt bronze ornamentation. Original 18th century mercury gilding. The dial is signed by enameller Dubois. Its day numbers are decorated with fleurs de lys. The needle of the hours bears the chiselled letter "G" surrounded by a laurel crown.
