Saint Martin of Tours and the fall of the idols, wood relief.
Wooden relief representing the miracle of the fall of the idols by the prayer of a saint bishop, certainly Saint Martin of Tours.
The bishop kneeling in prayer, side by side with a cleric, faces a pagan idol on a pedestal, perhaps a statue of Mars, which breaks. Although Saint Martin was only a deacon when this miracle occured according to tradition, the iconographic error is quite frequent.
