Pair of large Medicis vases in blue-green earthenware with acanthus leaf-shaped handles.
Decorated on the four sides, mascarons surrounded by foliage scrolls and purple flower garlands. The whole is highlighted with gilding giving more depth to the whole. Beautiful marbling effect in the glaze.
Undoubtedly made in Lunéville, in the east of France, in the manufacture of Saint Lambert ,which imitated models from the Louis XIV period.
