An english "Crewel-work" spot motif applique covered mirror

Mirror is of rectangular form, covered in modern white linen, applied with earlier cut-out “crewel work” motifs embroidered in wool in various stitches and including stems with scrolling leaves, flowers, and small anomaly and strip of the top of a hill (motifs taken from a linen bedspread or hanging panel which would have had vertical stems emerging from hillocks across the lower edge incorporating animals).
