Leda with the Swan

Oil on canvas (141x103) referring to Tommaso Salini (1575-1625) says Mao.
Painter neither in Caravaggio here worked in Rome throughout his life.
Baglione, writing a biography, gives the primacy of still life, arouses many passionate discussions here. And placing in a relationship with Giovanni Baglione.
The works presented here are concerned with one for all, the famous "Fiasca di Forlì". Still life representing a bottle of wine with a particular realism ... that the name of Caravaggio is sometimes disturbed.
In Leda, there is rather the typical plasticity of Salini, recognizable in other works to which he is linked, the types; Apollo or allegory of music and bacchino.
