Heraldic tile with the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Aragon, XVIIth cent.

Decorated in blue on a white ground and depicting a crowned double eagle, this beautiful tile, in magnificent condition, comes from the Royal Monastry of Saint Catherine in Teruel; located right in the city centre and run by the order of Saint Claire, the monastry was part of the palace of the kings of Aragon. Teruel, XVIIth century.

In excelent condition: worn areas and small superficial chips consistent with age, no restorations.
