Rare pair of angels in poplar wood sculpted in round hump, polychrome and giltwood . Of an elegant silhouette, they each hold a candle holder, one in their left hand and the other in their right hand. Beautiful oval faces with a juvenile expression with almond-shaped eyes and a mouth with a fleshy lower lip; hair girdled with a tiara at the top, the hair raised around the temples forming a crown. They are dressed in a long high waisted dresses,with drapes of great fluidity that fall to the ground leaving the pointed ends of the shoes visible. Gowns with rounded necklines punctuated by diamond patterns and enriched with punch-worked borders; tapered wax holders at the lower ends twisted,large spread wings attached to the back by wrought iron wedges.
