Very rich famille rose enamel on a chinese armorial plate.
The coats of arms are the one of the dutch family Guillot.
The Guillot family comes from Bordeaux where Elias Guillot is born in 1695. They moved to Amsterdam where they became rich marchands. Elias left for the Far East in 1714 as Junior Marchand, was in charge of the Masulipatman warehouse in 1733. In 1737 he left for Batavia where probably he ordered this service.
Extraordinary Consul of India in 1742, he died in 1743 at Batavia.
He never got married.
