Sèvres plate from the Prince de Polignac, given to him in 1824

Plate from the « Service des fruits, ornements en or et animaux peints en brun » given by the french King Louis 18th on the 31st August 1824 to the Prince de Polignac, french ambassador in London. The plate is decorated with strawberries in polychromie.
At the back the two entertwined L for Sèvres, with a fleur de lys in the middle and a mark for the guilder.
The sketches for the pattern of the rim by Jean-Jacques-François Leloy were created in 1818.
