Farmyard - Joseph FAVEROT (1862-?)

An oil on panel representing a pretty farmyard by Faverot FAVEROT Joseph B.-B. Born in May 1862 in Paris. Nineteenth century. French. Painter of genre scenes, various subjects, animals. He worked in Gérome's studio. He appeared in Paris, at the Salon des Artistes Français, from 1887 to 1900, and at the Salon of the National Society of Fine Arts. He produced genre paintings, usually representing barnyard subjects, such as hens and roosters. Having spent his youth among circus people, he specialized in decorative panels featuring clowns, acrobats, he brushes in Montmartre cabarets.
