Maison Jansen Royal Model Table
Circa 1960
Tray in black lacquered wood with two tilting parts on tubular trap pivoted on patinated steel with gilded rings on two wheels, two extensions (L.60 cm) and a central stand for 10 people 82 x 140 x 100 cm
Created for Jacqueline Delubac who hated dining tables, this table remains one of the iconic pieces of the Maison Jansen. It would have been made in a hundred copies with several proposals trays.
A table of the same model that we present is illustrated in situ in the Parisian dining room of Suzy and Pierre Delbée, director of the Jansen house in J.Archer-Abbott "Jansen", Arcanthus Press, New York, 2006 pp. 182-183
