Limoges (?) enamel plate Depicting the battle of Zama that took place in 202 BC. JC, between the Roman armies led by Scipio the African and the Numidian king Massinissa, and Carthaginians, led by Hannibal, who lost the 2nd Punic War.
Very dynamic composition, and beautiful state of conservation.
Some usual restorations on the edges, and probably on the head of one of the horses.
Limoges (?), 16th or 17th century.
