Signed « Aristide Maillol » to the top of the base.

A similar model of the Standing Bather, with the drape on her right arm, by Aristide Maillol is preserved at the LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) and another cast coming from the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller collection is exhibited in the MET (Metropolitan Museum of Art) in New-York (inv. 55.21.15).
