These mother-of-pearl faces are adorned with gilded and chiselled bronze motifs in "cathedral" style. The finely chopped slice has the same motifs. They open on leaflets and a cardboard "semainier". He has an engraving in color and small handwritten texts of the time on Georges Sand. He closes with his little pen.
The Troubadour style is an emerging artistic movement under the French Restoration, which reinvents the idealized atmosphere of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. This style has been revived by the Duchess of Berry.
