A fine small bronze sculpture in the manner of François Duquesnoy depicting a standing putto, his right leg is crossed over his left leg and his left hip is slightly pushed outwards. With his right hand he touches his hip, while his left arm is bent at a right angle, in a leaning position. His head is slightly bent, as if he is looking down onto something. On the back side there is an attachment which suggests that this statue once was part of a larger setting (perhaps a small monument ?).
Patinated, chiseled and cast bronze, produced by lost-wax casting with traces of filing.
