Victor de Bornschlegel, is a traditional French painter, born in Sierck (Moselle) in 1820.
Pupil of Nicolas-Toussaint Charlet, he won the 3rd class medal at the Salon of 1847.
In 1842, he exhibited "A lost recovery"; in 1847 "A girl with her first novel", in 1853 "Edinburgh prison"; in 1865 "The bracelet".
