Silversmith: Boin Taburet à Paris.

The jeweler Emile Taburet exposed his work at the 1880 exhibition of the Union Centrale des Arts Decoratifs. He established his official silversmith mark a year later. He created the Boin-Taburet firm around 1880 with the antique dealer Georges Boin. In 1889, they participated in the World Fair and won a gold medal for their work. Boin-Taburet was accredited with the 1880’s Parisian revival of silver in the Louis XV style. Emile Taburet and Georges Boin worked together until 1900 when Boin associated with the silversmith Henry and created the Boin and Henry Silversmiths firm.
