A rare clock in finely chiseled gilt bronze and polychrome enamels enhanced with gold.
Model with three dials.
The upper dial whose disc is decorated with a moon in a starry sky indicates the phases and the age of this star.
The second circular dial gives a glimpse of the workings of the movement.
It indicates the hours and the minutes as well as the days of the month and the week.
The third blue enamel dial gives the months and signs of the zodiac.
Below a small plate of blue enamel with the indication to the gold "A Paris"
The compensated pendulum finely chiseled and gilded apollon figure is original.
Rich ornamentation of finely chiselled bronzes and gilded with mercury, including an eagle with spread wings, caryatids supporting baskets of flowers, horns of plenty ...
Rare decor of enamels with blue background enhanced with gold and two scenes with white background of Etruscan vestals fueling the sacred fire.

Enamels attributable to the master enameler Joseph Coteau (1740-1801)

Carrara white marble base resting on four bronze tops.

Perfect working condition, suspension and original anchor escapement.

Revised by our master watchmaker.

Small enamel restorations; small scratches on the central dial.
