Eugène Henri Cauchois (1850 - 1911) - Chrysanthemums

Oil on canvas. Signed lower right "Cauchois". Genre, landscape, marine and still life painter, Eugène Cauchois studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts under Alexandre Cabanel and Ferdinand Duboc. He participated in the Salon de Paris from 1874 and became member of the Artistes Français Association in 1890. He focused on decorative paintings in the end of his life. His works are in the museums in Louviers, Perpignan or Rouen. Dimensions frame included.
