Tsuba mokkogata in shakudo - Cherry and rafts

Sword guard in shakudo, mokkogata form (quadrilobée), carved in nikubori and marubori sukashi. The mimi is finely decorated in gold nunomezogan.
The decoration represents the traditional motif "hana ikada": cherry blossoms and rafts.
