A rare, diminutive medieval reliquary in the shape of a hexagonal turret with elongated, narrow, vertical windows, each with a Gothic style trefoil-shape pelmet. The hexagonal roof of the tower with cross at the top also forms the lid of the reliquary, which rotates on a hinge and can be closed with the original pin. The turret rests on a slender stem with a large flattened knot in the middle and a large flat base with a slightly raised edge.
Originally this reliquary would have contained a glass vial containing the relic of the saint.
