A Romanesque carved and naturally weathered marble head of a Madonna, most likely from a larger "Sedes Sapientiae" sculpture. She is depicted crowned and veiled, two wavy strands of hair are showing from underneath her veil. Her face wit a pious expression , almond-shape eyes and a serene smile.
