Very good state of conservation

It is from the 1750s that Provencal commodes take grace and lightness, they often have two drawers, on slender legs, we call them: Sauteuses

When I bought this commode, it carried small bronzes Directoire period.
Looking closely I found traces of its original bronzes, luckily, I kept one for a long time one piece crowned Louis XV in C that are ideal volume and pattern resumes perfectly the cross of our low chest of drawers.
The C crowned: That punch that existed from February 1745 to February 1749, certified that these bronzes had paid tax to the state. It should be affixed to each piece of bronze of the same cabinet.
Here we find the blue marble turquin of the Pyrenees: Gray background with blue stripes black and white.
One of the most popular marbles in the second part of the eighteenth, usually reserved for upmarket furniture and objects.
