Jean Puiforcat "Cannes" Flatware Part Service

"Cannes" Art Deco facade of the Martinez Hotel in Cannes, a city adored by Jean Puiforcat, a great lover of the coast. Designed in 1928, the Cannes collection had a special place in the heart of the silversmith-cum-designer: when he married Maria Estevez, he chose these knives and forks to grace the wedding tables
Designed in 1928 by Jean Puiforcat, this flatware has great formal purity. Its volumes interact as though it were a sterling silver sculpture.
This family cutler, founded in Paris in 1820 by Emile Puiforcat owes most of its renown to Jean Puiforcat who establish the company in the avant-garde of modern silverwork. "Minerve " stamp (925°/°°) weight out of knifes : 10454 g
