Faience Ewer from Nevers, circa 1650 - 1660

Rare jug, (probably oil jug) nevers faience with a top handle and a rear handle and a spout-shaped baby bottle.

It is decorated in blue shades of alliance weapons of the famous family of JAUCOURT (Nivernais, Burgundy) framed by large bouquets of flowers, birds in flight or posed, and a rabbit, characteristics of the period of the CONRADE.
