Netsuke wood carving, showing a man, seated on his heels / feet, wearing a kimono and holding a fan uchiwa, with a grimacing face. Theater figure, could be a Rakugo player. Signed under the base : Gyokurin. Height : 1.29 inches. Japan EDO (1603-1868) end of 18th, early 19th century.
