The bracket, body and top hat with applied ormolu, with an urn overflowing with flowers on top, eight toupees on the corners, the small ones on top and the larger on the gallery. A faun head guards the numeral XII, two sphinges on either side of the enamel medallion with signature, below the numeral VI.
A lock and key on the right side allow for the opening of the door for access to the winding and the hands.
Ormolu dial with twelve blue Roman numerals on white enamel cartouches for the hours, the Arabic numerals for the 60 minutes engraved in the surround.
Finely cut blued steel hands.
Large movement enclosed with rectangular plates held by four finely turned pillars, verge escapement with silk suspension and Huyghens correction brass cheeks. Countwheel strike for the hours and halves, on a bell situated in the hat of the case.
