An extremely rare travel cutlery set consisting of a knife and a two-pronged fork in iron with solid silver handles in the form of Saint George on horseback fighting the dragon with a lance. Each of the ferrules is engraved with the owner's initials IB. Amsterdam. Circa 1700. Dimensions: length of the knife (without stand) 25,5cm ; length of the fork (without stand) 24cm References: see "Cutlery from Gothic to Art Deco - The J.
