A pair of Louis XV Fauteuils à Châssis attributed to Louis Cresson

An important pair of early Louis XV carved giltwood Fauteuils à la reine.
Each with a cartouche-shaped back, padded arms and shaped seat upholstered à châssis with green floral silk velvet, the chanelled frame carved to the cresting with a foliate spray, the outscrolled arms above cabriole legs terminating in foliate-carved feet.
