18th century China Export Porcelain, armorial plate

Porcelain plate, decorated in polychromy of the family coat of arms of VAN DAM - DE MAULDE families. They are supported by two lions, and surmounted by a crown with five florets. They are based on a rocaille spirit cartridge. The wing decorated with small bouquets of flowers.
Charles Henri Adrien van DAM, baron AUDIGNIES, performed this service. Born in 1717, he became a member of the Order of the Nobility of French Hainaut and Colonel of Infantry; in 1764 he married in Cerfontaine Marie Philippine Catherine Joseph of Maulde, lady of the Deuze and Bervoir (died in 1791), he had no child and died in 1781 in Audignies.
