Boy playing with a ball, French school, XIXth century

Bronze sculpture representing a boy holding a ball with his right hand, his body in a forward gait and besides a tree trunk. Beautiful chiseling quality, noticeable above all in the hair, the cloth fur and the facial features, harmonious and finely defined. The piece shows an original beautiful and greenish patina, the wear presenting in some areas very nice shades.

Dimensions: 26 cm total high. Base: 10 x 10 cm
