Louis XIII desk table in gaiac, work of La Rochelle

Table desk carried by 4 feet turned baluster in guaiac wood, connected by a sinuous X spacer surmounted by a big spinning top, resting on 5 flattened balls.
Overflowing tray with molded edges rechampis black. A large belt drawer with bronze pull handle.
The feet and the top are in guaiac, the other parts of the table are lemon and cherry wood.
Work of La Rochelle late seventeenth
