An important silver pineapple goblet, made in 3 separate, unscrewable parts: the chalice with snake skin motif on the upper part and diamond-shaped surfaces that imitate a pineapple below , the middle joint with six finely hammered hanging leafs and an elegant stem with a pointed diamond-shaped pattern tapering downward and resting on a slightly raised based with snake skin motif. Owner's initials VD engraved in the middle of the chalice and repeated underneath the base but with an opened portcullis surmounted by a crown in between.
Marked on the rim of the chalice and on the edge of the base with the town mark of Augsburg and the maker's mark : MB in a circle (unidentified).
