Sword 18th Century

Steel marcasite frame with diamond-point background or decoration richly decorated with flowers and foliage. Guard with a branch dividing into two at the level of the cruise. Oval-shaped pommel similarly decorated on the mount with additional weapon trophies. Wooden rocket fully filigree with silver threads, blued steel ribbon and gold studded silver ribbon. Silver braided ferrules.

Engraved blade engraved with bouquets of flowers corollas of gilded foliage on a blued background, gilt heel. W 77cm.

Wooden scabbard sheathed in white shagreen with three steel marcasite fittings decorated in relief with a decoration in point of diamonds with corollas of leaves, bouquets of flowers and military trophies in relief on a background or and borders engraved with lines. The clevis and center trim are each with a bail ring.
