A German painted and gilt small center table, with glass bead top with a rococo design of scrolls, by Johann Michael van Selow, Brunswick, circa 1760-65. [Van Selow had a famous workshop specialized in glass bead work, under the patronage of Duke Carl I of Brunswick. His factory lasted only from 1755 to 1772. Examples in German Museums, at Barnard Castle and in the Victoria and Albert Museum (UK)]
