Cup in yellow opaline and gilded bronze circa 1810

Very rare cup in yellow Opal crystal. This color has been developed by the manufactory of Creuzot by Jacques Chapet in 1807, by the addition of antimony sulfide. This nuance very often turns to amber or purple on the edges of the objects. This production disappears completely in 1820. Our Cup features everything with a light pink color. Mount bronze gilded and carved and knurled fins, pearls and sheets of water.
Perfect condition.
Height: 10 cm, diameter: 12.5 cm
