French Box "compagnonnage" Dated 1739

Pretty rectangular box walnut veneer 18th century. It has an inlaid decoration of flowers enhanced with molded reserves. On the sides this floral decoration gives way to two elegant "companion" emblems representing mason's tools. The lid has a beautiful wrought iron handle. Inside this charming box we discover two beautiful hinges and a small box. Walnut veneer on fir tree France, Alsace 18th century, dated 1739 missing the lock
