Eugène Henri MILLET was a pupil of PIPARD and LECOULTRE. Under their teaching, he regularly exhibited at the Salon genre subjects and still lifes between 1866 and 1875.
He also practiced engraving, especially for the illustration of works such as L’Ouvrier, by J. DOLENT, of which he exhibited the engaved boards at the Salon of 1874 and 1875.
