Fine Louis XVI mahogany Tric Trac game table, 18th Century

Tric-trac game table Louis XVI period, rectangular mahogany wood, mahogany veneer and speckled mahogany of Cuba, ebony, natural ivory, ivory tinted, oak soul. The right belt is divided into quadrilateral reserves, two square at the extremities and one rectangular; all marked with mahogany chopsticks. In each reserves of right extremities; slips, one drawer, opposite each other. A reversible removable tray surrounded by a mahogany gallery forming a of the covers the table. The top of it is mahogany veneered in a mahogany veneer frame, the lapel wrapped in a play mat to beat the cards. Once the tray is removed, a tank with two boxes is discovered to practice, game of tric trac or backgammon. Each box is inlaid with natural ivory eyelets and also ivory and ivory tips tinted green on a background of ebony veneer. The set is based on a base with four fine feet, tapered and fluted topped rings and finished with hooves mounted on ebony wheels. A beautiful ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronze adorns the set such as falling cylindrical pull handles, rings and hooves.
