A beautiful carving of a hand holding or resting on a clam shell, carved from white marble with a weathered patina. Most likely, this hand once belonged to a large statuary group depicting Venus.

Dimensions: length 13cm ; width 8cm ; height 4,5cm

Provenance: private collection in Liège (Belgium), collected in the 1950's.
