Virgin and child in alabaster, Flanders 17th century on a circular base of the same material. The Virgin is dressed and headdresses in the manner of a rich Flemish lady of the 16th century. The child, naked on her left forearm, holds the globe and blesses with his right hand (Benedictio Graeca), left foot supported by the right hand of the Virgin. Very moving work of the first half of the 16th century. (circa 1530) Right and left forearm of the Chris are a posterior work, as well as the square base in black marble.
