Silver-plated copper bomb, the gutter of the base of the bomb is model 1858 with single round ring. Depth of the bomb 8 cm. Turban made of strong leather covered with an original marine cowhide (having lost almost all of its fur). H turban on the sides 6 cm. Silver-plated copper visor and nape, each edged with a golden brass bangle straddling the outer edge, lined with black patent leather. Crest in golden brass, embossed and burnished with agate stone on the projecting parts. It is composed of a mask stamped with a burning bomb surmounted by a jellyfish head in relief with a crown of laurel branches above, fixed in the lower part by means of a half-headed golden brass screw. spherical, width of the crest at its center 4.5 cm, H 14 cm; two flappers struck by a decreasing sequence of 8 gadroons framed by pearls of acanthus leaves and palmettes and in the upper part of a series of laurel leaves, the lower part of the fins is folded outwards and scalloped, decorated with a suite of acanthus leaves and attached to the bomb by means of four golden brass screws with half-spherical head, H fins 11.5 cm; cover plate embossed with a decoration depicting a braided mane. Ornament of the crest gilded brass composed of an olive decorated with palmettes (H 2.5 cm, diameter 6.4 cm), a socket (H 3 cm, diameter 2.5 cm) with laurel branches and palmettes including the base is embellished with a small serrated disc (diameter 3.8 cm), and a powder puff scarlet (H 6.5 cm). Golden brass plume stand, decorated with white laurel (H 4.1 cm). Jugular model 1858; mounted on a leather chin strap wrapped in fine black cloth, covered with a series of rounded and interlaced gilt brass rings, maximum width 3.9 cm, width min 1.9 cm, length 12.5 cm, ending in a Round rose gold brass rosette embossed with laurel leaves (diameter 5.4 cm), attached to the turban by means of a chiseled gilt brass screw. Mane in black horsehair, apparent length of about 50 cm. Inner cowl made of black waxed sheepskin, iron-cut and cut into seven wolf teeth. Good condition: the brass parts have retained all their gilding, the bomb has retained all its silver but has some depressions and bumps uses, the turban has lost its fur, the visor rushes and the nape of the neck have some blows, the inner cap is in pretty good condition but complete.
