Our work is perhaps the painting exhibited by the artist in Neuchâtel in 1882, then in 1890, under the title “A Merligen. Lake of Thun” (Godet, 1893, p. 221, No. 116, and p. 223, No. 145).
Regarding Thun and the lakes of the Oberland, read in the book by Philippe Godet dedicated to the artist (1893) the pages 177-179.
