This Sedes Sapientiae, The Seat of Wisdom has the classic Romanesque stylization of folds and frontal depiction of the austere Virgin and Christ Child holding onto the bible. Has remains of original paint and gilding. Circa 1200 likely made in France or Northern Spain.
